Lou Escobar's work as a photographer and director is a reflection of her diverse upbringing and her passion for cinema and travel. Her ability to capture the essence of her subjects through the use of color and composition is reminiscent of the vibrant tones of 80s cinema and the works of Tarantino.

What sets Escobar's work apart is her ability to create a dreamlike narrative through her choice of settings, inviting the viewer to imagine themselves in the scene. Her photographs bring to life powerful characters, in particular, strong women, who are central to her work. By choosing unknown characters, Escobar adds authenticity to her art and portrays real people with unique personalities and stories.

In living between Paris and Barcelona, Escobar embodies the power of diversity and the ability to exist in multiple spaces and identities. Her work is a testament to the importance of celebrating multiculturalism and the unique perspectives it brings.
